Wieder einmal gibt es Unstimmigkeiten. NEGAS sagt:
„Like most gatrpods, the swamp slug is a hermaphrodite, and it reproduces without external fertilization. The creature will simply become pregnant and bear a child, which is born completely aware of how to survive. Although it can survive on its own, the baby swamp slug will usually stay with its mother for several months while it gets accustomed to its environment.“
Laut Wildlife of Star Wars paaren sich die Swamp Slugs jedoch erst und legen dann Eier:
„The slugs are hermaphroditic, but need a male to reproduce. Each lays hundreds of eggs in the muddy silt, but most eggs are eaten by other swamp predators.“
Außerdem ist in Wildlife of Star Wars ein Bild mit der Unterschrift „mating slugs“, ein anderes sagt „grasping pseudopods for mating and clutching“.
Ich habe schon ein HDK angelegt und auf die Unstimmigkeit hingewiesen; im Artikel verwendete ich die Informationen aus NEGAS. Ist es so richtig oder gibt es eine andere Quelle, die den Konflikt löst?
